This June 16-19, embark on a journey of service, adventure, and spiritual growth with us in Orlando! We will drive on the church bus to the FL Conference UCC in Orlando leaving on Monday morning. We will arrive in Orlando by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, ready to break the ice and dive into a meaningful devotional session. The adventure continues on Tuesday as we dedicate our morning to one of our two outreach projects and our afternoon to collaborating with a local community organization in the Orlando area (fostered through our connection to friends in Winter Park). After a refreshing shower at the nearby YMCA, we’ll gather at the First Congregational Church of Winter Park for a nourishing dinner.

Wednesday is Universal Studios Day!

Our mission culminates on Thursday with light work at the conference ground, wrapping up in time for a closing devotional and lunch. As we bid farewell, we carry with us the lessons learned, friendships forged, and the joy of service fulfilled.

We will have continental breakfasts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and will have Dinner at the Conference Office on Monday evening.

Our host for this special event is Neal Watkins, the Minister for Congregational Life for the Florida Conference of the United Church of Christ. Neal, along with his wife, Pam, and their children, Casey and Caleb, are proud residents of Vero Beach, Florida. With a rich history of involvement in the UCC community and a deep commitment to innovative and engaging ministry, Neal brings a unique blend of energy, insight, and passion to our gathering. His experience spans from youth ministry to theological education, including a significant role in developing dynamic worship experiences that resonate with young believers today.
