With music, we express the things that are most meaningful in our lives, and find in its gifts a meaningful ministry of the church.
An important part of our ministry, music and the arts unites people despite their differences. In times of celebration and sorrow, we are brought together through singing and ringing.
Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir is open to all friends and members of the church who love to sing and who would find satisfaction in rehearsing and presenting music for worship, including special music for the Advent, Christmas, Lenten, and Easter seasons. We rehearse on Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall and hold extra rehearsals throughout the year to preview and get a head-start on new anthems. The songs of the church go on in new and creative ways, and we cordially invite you to join in the song.

Adult Bell Choir
Our Adult Bell Choir rehearses on Sundays after 11:00 a.m. worship, with occasional bell choir retreats to get an advanced look at music for upcoming seasons. We play in worship monthly and at special services through the year. In the past, we have participated in the annual Florida State Bell Choir Festival and have done other concerts locally throughout the season.
Music reading ability is necessary for Adult Bell Choir participation!

Youth Bell Choir
Our talented and enthusiastic Youth Bell Choir meets on Sunday morning for rehearsals with Director Seth Patterson and plays in worship regularly. Youth Bell Choir is open to all ringers in Grades 6 – 12. A lot of fun, learning, and satisfaction can be found in ringing in a bell choir. We look forward to the energy and inspiration our Youth Bell Choir will bring to the people of Gables UCC.

Sunday School Singers
Our children’s music ministry, under the ongoing and enthusiastic leadership of Alexandra Woods, is integrated into the Sunday School curriculum and sometimes culminates in sharing some of that music in our 11:00 a.m. worship service. The Christmas Eve musical presented at our Family Christmas Eve service delights us annually with the energy and enthusiasm of our young singers.
