How to Help Countries Affected by Hurricane Beryl

We need help to assemble emergency kits: 10-5pm daily at GEM Headquarters Miami at 1850 NW 84th Avenue, Doral (wear comfortable shoes and clothing and bring water to drink)

C. PURCHASE ITEMS

Purchase items for delivery to GEM’s warehouse through their Amazon wish list.

D. BUY ITEMS FOR DROP OFF:

Here is a list of needed items: Tarps, generators, trash waste bags, canned foods, preferably with a peel-off lid and with 1+ year expiration date, non-perishable foods, (1+ year expiration date), sleeping bags, work gloves, solar-powered lights, tents, industrial sponges, professional first-aid kits, hygiene kits, including hair brush toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo (small) soap, wash cloth, deodorant. IMPORTANT NOTE: NO USED CLOTHING OR LINEN!!

Miami-Dade County and GEM have designated the following drop-off locations to collect items:

North Dade Regional Library, 2455 NW 183rd St, Miami Gardens, FL 33056

South Dade Regional Library, 10750 SW 211 St, Cutler Bay, FL 33189

Aventura Library, 2930 NE 199th St, Aventura, FL 33180

Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st St, Miami, FL 33132

Libraries are closed on Sundays. The GEM warehouse is open for donations from Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
