Have you been diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or another psychotic spectrum disorder? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a free culturally informed, religious-based group therapy that is part of a research study aimed at improving treatment for these specific conditions. EMPATHY BOOTCAMP – Self Empathy

The ability to show empathy towards ourselves is an essential component of self-care. Self-empathy helps to break through the obstacles that often prevent us from showing that same compassion towards ourselves as we would someone else in a similar situation. Dr. Mark Smith will discuss the concept of self-empathy, and strategies for breaking through our self-criticism to become more compassionate and caring towards ourselves.
