Dolly Parton’s flamboyant, exaggerated, country girl-meets-Hollywood look, one of the most identifiable in American culture, often belies her incredible talent as a songwriter, performer, and actress who has entertained millions of fans for over five decades. It has been said that Dolly’s songs are beacons of hope and inspiration in fearful and difficult seasons.
