We recently found the original cornerstone that was placed in 1924 when our beautiful historic sanctuary was built. On this special morning as we celebrate the deep and ever-deepening spirit of our vibrant church and kick-off our program year for 2026/27, we will rededicate the cornerstone remembering that every strong structure requires a solid foundation. In a world filled with false doctrines, shaky philosophies, and uncertain values, the church can be an important stability. Come and enjoy a wonderful service at 11:00 a.m. filled with festive music, meaningful reflections, and spirit-filled fellowship as we celebrate the continuing strength and strong foundation of Gables UCC and all who have made and make it possible across the many generations.  

We also hope you will join us for our Cornerstone Café and potluck following worship, Please bring an entrée to feed 8-10 people (such as fried chicken, lasagna, Cuban sandwiches, green salad, fruit salad, pasta salad, or your favorite vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free creation). Just drop it off in the kitchen before worship. Ice cream treats provided for dessert. A great day for a great church!
