A great tradition in the life of our community! A service that invites, ignites, and illumines who we are as a church family as we gather back from our many places of travel and leisure following the summer months. Come and enjoy a wonderful service filled with festive music, humorous and meaningful reflections, and spirit-filled fellowship as we celebrate our theme, “Talkin’ Bout The Reformation.” It is reported that Martin Luther once said, “I don’t always nail things to doors but when I do, stuff happens.” That’s not unlike this congregation, which for 94 years has been making stuff happen through its open heart, open mind, and open hands. Following worship, join us for a potluck luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring an entrée to feed 8-10 people (such as fried chicken, lasagna, Cuban sandwiches, green salad, fruit salad, pasta salad, or your favorite vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free creation). Just drop it off in the kitchen before worship. Dessert and beverages will be provided. Following the service, join us for root beer floats and the chance to try some German polkas in honor of Martin Luther.
