There is a good reason for this Sunday after Epiphany to focus on baptism. The key here is that baptism is all about beginnings. Jesus began his ministry with his own baptism, and today Christians see baptism as beginning a committed journey with Jesus. The season after Epiphany, as a whole, has much to do with beginnings: the beginning of Jesus’ life, the start of his ministry, the calling of the disciples, and his first miracle. Join us as we renew our own baptism and our claim as God’s beloved children.
We gather in the beauty of our historic sanctuary to be engaged in meaningful worship,
which feeds our spiritual hunger. It is said that each week is a bit different; there is always
something that challenges and calls us to our authentic selves. Join us for beautiful music,
challenging and inspiring messages, and liturgy that offers a renewal of mind and spirit.
This service is also streamed live online at gablesucc.org/live.
