Advent is often referred to as a time of waiting. But it is also a time of active preparation for the Birth of Christ. Together, during this holy season, we will use prophetic scriptures and readings from the Gospels as our birthing manual. We will also share stories from our own birthing experiences, Lamaze breathing techniques and all, as we anxiously await the moment we get to gaze through that maternity/nursery window and see that special newborn child we have been waiting for, wrapped up tightly, in the plastic bassinet. Let us experience the growth of Christ’s love within us as we share this intimate and sacred time in community.
