The day of Pentecost is the climax of the Great Fifty Days of Easter, celebrating the gift of the Spirit to the body of Christ – the church. Wear red, a symbol of the flames of the Spirit. We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. It will be a joyful festival of the church indeed! Since it’s the birthday of the church, we shall eat cake!
