How sick is the cradle of life?

The ocean is facing serious environmental issues, many of which are caused by human activity. These problems have resulted in the degradation of marine ecosystems, the decline of fish populations, and the destruction of coral reefs, among others. While efforts are being made to address these issues, more needs to be done to restore the health of the ocean. To get more information on this important creation justice topic, we invite you to a special session with Patricia Miloslavich, a member of the Executive Committee of the Science Council for Oceanic Research (SCOR). Patricia is a scientist, educator, communicator, and award winner with more than 30 years of academic experience in research, education, and in the development, management, and leadership of international projects related to marine biology, biodiversity, and biological oceanography with national and international groups.
