Fall Trip to New England Info Session

June 18 @ 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm EDT

Join us from October 20 – October 26 for a beautiful and meaningful autumnal trip as we follow the path of our Congregational forbearers from their arrival at Plymouth Rock in Provincetown, Massachusetts; to the first Congregational churches along Cape Cod; to Sturbridge Village, a recreated 1830’s rural New England town; to Harvard College begun by the Congregational Church; to the Old South UCC in Boston where in 1773, Samuel Adams gave the signals that started the Boston Tea Party; to Pilgrim Congregational UCC in Duxbury, where our church founder George Merrick grew up and where his father Solomon was the minister.

Along the way, we will see the sand dunes at the Cape Cod National Sea Shore; walk the red bricks along the Freedom Trail in Boston; delight in seafood and other delicious food for all palates in some unique and special restaurants; and, of course, experience the beauty of autumn.

Would you like more information? There will be a special gathering of all who are planning on going and those who are interested on Sunday, June 18 at 12:15 p.m. in Havighorst Lounge.
