The Gables UCC family is invited once again for a relaxed evening of conversation, community, and thoughtful engagement with scripture led by the Rev. Brandan Robertson, our Theologian in Residence.  

Over a beer, soft drink, or coffee, we’ll look at a few biblical passages that are often misunderstood or taken out of context, especially in our public and political conversations. Together, we’ll explore what these texts were actually saying in their own time—and what more careful, life-giving readings might offer us today.  

No Bible expertise required, just curiosity and a willingness to think together.
