Advent is a season of waiting and expectation for Christmas – the birth of Christ, the Nativity of Our Lord. This Advent season we will take the traditional themes of Advent as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew as we prepare our homes and hearts these four weeks before Christmas. Each Sunday we light a candle that signifies the gift of Jesus’ birth, that of hope, peace, love, and joy.
