Worship – June 21, 2020

We invite the whole church to join virtually for a time of worship, prayer, and reflection as we look at the issues of anti-Black racism and to proclaim together that Black Lives Matter. In this time of worship, we will lament, we will hope, and we will be called to act against racism. We will hear the poetry, song, and witness of church members as well as introduce our new church statement on racial justice.

We are especially pleased to welcome as our preacher for the morning, our very own Emily Roles Fotso, who has grown up in this congregation since infancy. She is a student at Mount Holyoke College where she is double-majoring in philosophy and film studies and is considering law school or a professorship in the future.

Emily will share reflections about her life experiences as a young, Black woman as well as her thoughts on the current state of racial justice in the U.S. and how we can seek reconciliation.

Follow along with today’s bulletin here.

After worship, we held a virtual Connection Cafe.
